Ingredients
- 1.5 cup Grainova’s Ragi flour
- ¾ to 1 cup jaggery
- ¼ cup roasted almonds
- ¼ cup roasted walnuts
- ¼ cup roasted flax seeds
- ¼ cup roasted sesame seeds
- Cardamom powder
- 1 to 1 ½ tbsp full desi ghee
Method
- In a pan, gently roast the ragi flour in ghee over a low flame, ensuring it warms through without burning.
- Next, Roast the nuts. Take all the roasted nuts and seeds and grind them to a coarse texture.
- Blend this mixture thoroughly with the roasted flour.
- Incorporate a teaspoon of cardamom powder for a fragrant touch.
- Prepare a single-thread jaggery syrup by dissolving the jaggery in 2-3 tablespoons of water until it reaches the desired consistency. Combine this syrup with the flour mixture.
- While the blend is still warm, shape it into laddoos with your hands. The warmth of the mixture will help in binding the laddoos perfectly, creating a delightful sweet treat that's both nutritious and satisfying.
